New hope for Indian e-commerce sector

                  As we know India has second most population in the world and also the largest young generation are living in India. This is a good sign for the e-commerce in India.  In present scenario most of working people have not enough time to go out for shopping. The domestic  e-commerce sector will grow in upcoming two years because this sector is providing the better services for the customer choice . The consumer confidence to shop online has grown significantly in the last year and a half. About 8 million people were shopping online in 2012 and the number this year is expected to be 35 million. Earlier this online shopping were seen in Tier  I cities mostly. Now in Tier two cities also this activities are increasing rapidly. It is expected that by, 2016 the online shopper base will grow almost three times to 100 million new buyers.. This would see a rapid growth to become a $15 billion market by 2016. Women buyers are set to become the most significant contributor to the growth of online shopping and there is a huge opportunity waiting to be unblocked in this user segment.

                 While there are some challenges also in this sector. The report pointed out that sixty two percent buyers said they were not satisfied with their online shopping experience. Among non-buyers , trust was a major issue with 55% , saying they did not trust the quality of products sold online.  Some people are concerned about the of online transactions and  did not feel comfortable sharing personally identifiable information online. 

                 In all the circumstance the e-commerce sector is growing rapidly and providing the better services for the customers. This sector is helping the customer for more choices at a time, time saving and also the best and new products.
